KiwiSDR 2 standalone software defined HF radio radio (0-30MHz) complete with BeagleBone Green in aluminium enclosure. Includes GPS antenna, self test cable.

They are shipped ready to plug and play. No other computer is required. Just plug in a 5V power supply, an Ethernet cable to your network, and an HF antenna and it will be accessible from anywhere in the world from the Internet. 

Requires 5V 2A DC supply with standard 5.5mm round connector with 2.1mm centre hole.

For best performance the power supply needs to be very low noise. Genuine Apple USB iPhone chargers are very good. Cheap clones are terrible. We have had some USB A to 5.5mm/2.1mm DC cables made to work with iPhone chargers. Most USB cables use wires that are too thin so the volt drop causes problems. More info about the optional cable.
